Akbar Pharmaceuticals, part of the Akbar Brothers Group, says it’s the the first pharmaceutical company to receive the prestigious ISO 9001 2008 award for quality management.
Akbar Pharmaceuticals began their operations in the 2005 with a staff of four employees, operating initially as a distributor for the State Pharmaceuticals Corporation. At the same time it took over the business of then Central Medical Stores which was on of the oldest and most reputed agency houses in the country.
