Incumbent President Pharmacist Thomas Tucker retained his position as president, going unopposed in the polls, whilst Pharmacist Denise Thomas took the post of secretary Generalship and Pharmacist James P. Komeh, Deputy Registrar of the Pharmacy Board of Sierra Leone emerged as first Vice President of the Pharmaceutical Society of Sierra Leone.
The three day event also saw the nomination and voting in of other members of the society into office of the executive officials, an event which many think has contributed enormously in bring sanity and order in the Society of Pharmacists in the country.
The past AGM marked the 10 session of pharmacist congregation in the country where officials administering the society are elected to serve for a three year term, eligible for re-election only once after the first term.
