Pharmaceutical Expo 2011 in December
With an aim to showcase the strength and potential of the pharma industries, a Pharmaceutical Expo 2011 will be organised by Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) from December 16 to 18 at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre.The expo will also host an array of products like lab equipment, pharma ingredients, machinery, waste management, pharma software. Representative from the pharma industry, regulatory authorities, hospitals and other allied industries are expected to be present at the expo.To be held concurrent with the 63rd Indian Pharmaceuticals Congress, the expo will discuss the challenges and opportunities in managing the growth.Speaking to the press persons, Biligire SG, president, Karnataka Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Manufacturers association said that nearly 300 pharma companies are expected to participate of which 121 have already confirmed their participation.
