Beacon Solutions Lands New Purchase Order from Fortune 500 Pharmaceutical Company04003005

Beacon Enterprise Solutions Group, Inc., a global provider in the high performance provision of advanced IT solutions, announced the execution of a new purchase order with a Fortune 500 Pharmaceutical Company that will encompass both domestic and international locations.

In a release, the company noted that the new order relates to Layer 1 infrastructure services for a recently acquired entity of the pharmaceutical company. This international Fortune 500 client is an existing Beacon customer and is now utilizing Beacon's IT infrastructure provisioning expertise to assist it in assessing and integrating the network of its recently acquired entity in the medical space.

Beacon will service the acquired entity's facilities located throughout the United States, in addition to international facilities located in: Germany, Spain, Italy, France, Canada, Australia, the Netherlands and the UK.

Beacon Solutions Expands Contract With Pharmaceutical Client

Beacon Enterprise Solutions Group, Inc. (Current Market Cap: US$16.84 Mil.) has added four new projects worth around $600,000 to an existing IT infrastructure management contract with an undisclosed New Jersey-based pharmaceutical and consumer health products firm.

The new projects are in Arkansas, Florida, Michigan and Juarez, Mexico. Beacon said that the combined value of the new projects is estimated to be around $600,000, which is in addition to the current $19.5 million, three-year infrastructure management contract Beacon has closed with this client for the North American region.

Beacon said that the size of the agreement is expected to grow in the coming weeks as both companies near the finalization of a new international contract that would encompass locations in over 35 additional countries throughout Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

Louisville, Kentucky-based Beacon Enterprise Solutions Group offers telecom infrastructure design, software development, systems integration, system installation and maintenance, as well as long distance, VoIP and internet access service.

The company's clients include state and local agencies, educational institutions, and more than 4,000 companies.

Beacon Solutions Expands Previously Announced $19.5 Million Contract with Fortune 500 Pharmaceutical Company

The new projects in Arkansas, Florida, Michigan and Juarez, Mexico have been awarded to Beacon as it continues to expand its infrastructure management services within the customer’s facilities. The combined value of these new projects is estimated to be approximately $600,000, which is in addition to the recently announced $19.5 million, three-year infrastructure management contract for the North American region.
The size of the agreement is expected to grow significantly in the coming weeks as both companies near the finalization of a new international contract that would encompass locations in over 35 additional countries throughout Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

Within 90 days from the beginning of the implementation phase of the infrastructure management service agreement with this Fortune 500 pharmaceutical company, Beacon has achieved an approximate 50% penetration rate for the expected service load at full implementation. In effect, this equates to 186 separate IT infrastructure related service tickets processed in the month of April alone.
Headquartered in New Jersey, this customer is a global research driven pharmaceutical company. The customer discovers, develops, manufactures and markets vaccines and medicines to address unmet medical needs.
