Talk about an economic stimulus!
The drug company Pfizer says it will give away free Viagra to people who’ve lost their jobs.
The impotence drug is one of more than 70 prescription medications Pfizer says will be part of the program. Other medications covered include cholesterol fighter Lipitor and painkiller Celebrex.
Industry observers note Pfizer stands to gain by giving away Viagra and the other medicines.
The company will get a tax write-off, keep loyal customers and get a ton of free publicity during the monologues of the late-night talk shows.
