Quinnova Pharmaceuticals Inc. and Taro Pharmaceutical Industries entered into an agreement to co-promote Neosalus for dermatitis and Cleanse & Treat for acne in the United States.
Both products were developed by Quinnova. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Neosalus is a prescription topical foam product use to relieve skin irritation cause by dermatitis. Cleanse & Treat is a prescription drug product used for the topical treatment of acne.
The combined sales forces of Quinnova of Newtown, Pa., and Taro of Hawthorne, N.Y., will reach about 12,000 practicing dermatologists, pediatricians and primary-care physicians.
“We see this co-promotion as a terrific opportunity to grow our collaboration with Taro and increase the reach of these products into the dermatological health-care community,” said Jeff Day, Quinnova’s president and CEO.
