Zandu Settles ‘Munni Badnaam Hui’ Dispute
Zandu Pharmaceuticals, manufacturers of Zandu Balm, have settled their dispute with producer Arbaaz Khan out of court. The pharmaceutical company had on 17th September issued a notice to Khan, asking him to withdraw the song, ‘Munni badnaam hui’, or delete the reference to its product, Zandu balm, in it, citing copyright infringement as the reason. The company threatened civil and criminal action against the producers of the film. But the dispute has been amicably settled between the two parties.
