Medicis Pharmaceutical Corp. said on Tuesday that its board raised the company's quarterly cash dividend to 8 cents per share from the previous 6 cents.
The dividend is payable on April 29 to shareholders of record as of April 1.
The last time the Scottsdale, Ariz., company increased its dividend was in March 2010, when it was raised to 6 cents per share from the previous 4 cents.
Shares of Medicis slipped 4 cents to $30.03 in midday trading.
