Ernst & Young Appoints New Global Pharmaceutical Leader



Big4.com, the premier social networking forum for professionals and alumni of Accenture, Andersen, BearingPoint, Capgemini, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers PwC reports Patrick Flochel has been appointed Global Pharmaceutical Leader for Ernst & Young, expanding his responsibilities from his current role as Europe, Middle East, India, and Africa (EMEIA) Life Sciences Leader. 

Big4.com reports that he will also be part of the leadership of Ernst & Young’s Global Life Sciences Center team. Patrick has had a 30-year career in auditing and consulting, starting in 1979 in Ernst & Young’s Paris office and moving to Brussels in 1989 to lead its EU Policy and Regulation Team providing strategic advisory services to Fortune 500 companies in the industrial and financial sectors. 

Big4.com also reports he replaces Carolyn Buck Luce, who has rotated out of the roles in advance of her retirement from Ernst & Young at the end of 2012. 

Ernst & Young’s Global Life Sciences Center consolidates knowledge and experience from around the globe and provides the high level insight and analysis clients need to adapt to a rapidly changing healthcare environment.
